BACKGROUND /

At Courageous Studios, the people who work here follow through on the company's mantra: Be Bold, Be Relevant, Be Courageous—and the logo needs to be held to the same standard. 

With its current delicate yet sophisticated frame, the logo does not evoke the same passion in all spaces. In fact, as it scales down on digital, video, and print, it becomes illegible and forgotten. Through this logo evolution, we will make sure to stand out from the background.

One size does not fit all /

Since its inception, the Courageous logo had one version. As the brand expanded across multi-platforms, it hadn't adapted itself to fit in small digital spaces.

The original logo is named after Ted Turner's (the founder of Turner) racing boat, which is why we decided not to remove the sails but embolden it.

It's also the reason why we encircled the sails when the logo gets smaller, as if it is sailing off into the distance, only seen through a telescopic lens.
